Fl Studio and the Hiatus Buster

So I haven't updated this blog very much. Unfortunately not much happens in Findlay and I don't really believe too much filler is the best policy. If you would like a vague idea of what's up with me then you should subscribe to my YouTube channel which is updated more frequently then this blog. (While I an in the United States). That being said I was recently hired to be a DJ later this year with the only problem being I don't know anything about music. So I decided that the best way to learn more about music, was to make music. I can hardly make anything acceptable right now, but I'm picking up and am now able to deliver consistently better beats. Right now I am using the Mobile version of FL Studio, which unfortunately lacks support for VSTs at this time. I hope to get acquainted with LMMS soon though, which should offer greater control.

Kent State University Visit

 Today I visited Kent State University to check out the campus.

Early Return

On April 1st 2011 I was informed that I would no longer be staying in Malaysia.
On April 5th I boarded my plane home.

Updating this blog was one of the last things I did before I found out.
However that doesn't mean I'm abandoning it.

Clarifying Edit ~ January 12th 2012 update to original from March 13th 2011:

For whatever reason the part of my travel adapter that actuality converted voltages to the US standards had failed me, and I was totally unaware that all my electronics were in fact electrically compatible with the Malaysian standards. When I stumbled upon this information while examining my laptop's power brick I was delightfully surprised, as my physical outlet connectors were still in working order. This post was actually typed on an 4th generation iPod Touch which I had brought to Malaysia primarily for use as a dictionary.
